sunny Sunday

As kiddo was drifting off to sleep tonight, she kept staring off into space and saying ba ba baf baf fffff ffffff ffffff baf baf baf fffff ffffff. God I love that kid :D I have a suspicion she will be dreaming of doggies tonight.

What a lovely day full of volleyball playing, hanging out with family and friends, and the unfortunate running over of my phone. I would take a picture and share, but, well, the camera I generally use is on the current phone…I think I may start calling it shardy since the glass is all fragmented (but it still works and I was able to back it up!).

Now I think I will drag my sore, sunburned body to pick up a couple things and then crash into bed…or maybe I’ll just crash out right here…this couch is awfully comfy and the dog is curled up next to me…

I would love to hear people share how they keep the energy up to pick up the house, because, I have to say, once I’ve gotten kiddo down for the evening, I am fairly pooped. Our current strategy is perpetual clean up throughout the day, but, doing things like say, the dishwasher, is easier said than done when a certain lovely daughter is trying to climb in said dishwasher…her creative way of helping I guess. Plus, on days like this, where we are out and about all day, the picking up doesn’t happen. Anyways, I’m rambling because I think I may face plant on the computer soon, so, share away! :D

    Cute pic:)
Same here on the clean up. I just try to keep it up all day ’cause when the little cutie is finally in bed, I am pooped! Sometimes I have to do a few things (like empty or fill said dishwasher) and straighten up her toys, but for the most part I am done for the day!
Who knew someone so cute could be so exhausting?
    :)
    P.S. Sorry about the phone!

It is amazing how such a little being can create such a path of destruction, cute destruction though :D

No worries about the phone, it was definitely my bad :/
